Name: Berkeley
Breed: Boston Terrier
Gender: Female
Age: 10
Personality: Meet Berkeley! This little ten year old girl was left behind when her owners moved, and she wandered the streets as a stray until she was picked up by the shelter. When we sprung her from the shelter, we discovered the sweetest little girl ever. Miss B is a quiet, calm girl who loves giving kisses and snuggling up next to her person on the couch. She is housetrained, doesn't bark, gets along fine with other dogs and loves playing with her squeaky toys. Unfortunately, Miss B is almost completely blind and has a hearing loss as well, but she adapts very quickly. It only took her one day to map out her foster mom's house, and she can now find her way around, including to her food bowl, the dog door, and outside into the back yard, where she loves lying in the sun.
Berkeley's foster mom well knew the love and devotion an older dog contributes to our lives. She was not prepared to fall head over heels for Berkeley...but that is exactly what happened. Berkeley took only weeks to become such a vital part of Maria, and her other dog, Milo's life, that they all knew she was right where she belonged. Welcome home Berkeley.....Milo, thanks for sharing your bed and mom!!
Issues: Nearly blind and poor hearing
Berkeley's Story: Diminutive little senior girl who loves her sun baths and snuggling.
