| Name: Bailey Breed: Boston Terrier Gender: Male Age: 2 Personality: Bailey, at 2 years old, is still like a fun loving puppy with cute floppy ears. He loves to play and loves everyone, including other dogs and the family cat. His current family feel terrible that they have had to make a decision that is in the best interest of Bailey and find a new home for him, but having a child with an illness has led them to need to devote less time than what Bailey deserves. Bailey spent the first year of his life in a pet store confined to a cage that was really too small for an fun loving, active Boston Terrier. Because of his confinement he didn't get a lot of exercise and was not able to move around freely. As a result his bones didn't grow as perfectly as they could have and his hind legs and hip are a little longer and higher than his front legs and chest. This does not hinder Bailey AT ALL as he runs and plays, goes up and down stairs, jumps and the condition causes no pain. The family does not have a doggy door and Bailey could use a little more training in his housebreaking. He has to be reminded to go outside to go potty, but if a doggy door were available he would probably learn the routine in no time at all. One minute Bailey can be 20 lbs of playful puppy and the next minute he can be a real lovebug, snuggle bunny or just stretch out in the sun and take a snooze. He would really do great with an active family who would give him love and a lot of exercise and play time. Issues: None Bailey's Story: Happy two year old floppy-eared boy.
